The Project Partners agree that an integrated approach to cultural heritage, biodiversity, recreation, archaeology, countryside access and transport is vital for local economic development and the tourism infrastructure. Project staff have been engaged in assessing sites and potential business ideas for development opportunity and sustainability. Most importantly, communities were encouraged to submit ideas about their own environments and interests, and support those plans which will make improvements where they are most needed.
