Finding your way around:

Ordnance Survey maps are a great way to orientate yourself. 

  •  
    • Map number 55 Lochgilphead and Loch Awe (1:50,000) for an overview.  
    • Map number 358 Lochgilphead and Knapdale North (1:25,000) for walking and other outdoor activities.

 

Finding More Information:

 

In Lochgilphead: 

  •  
    • There is a seasonal Tourist Information Office (Easter to October).
    • You can pick up details of walks and other activities in the local forests from the
      Forestry Commission office at Whitegates. 
    • Scottish Natural Heritage has an office on the Kilmory Industrial Estate where you will find out more about local nature reserves.
    • It's easy to find your way around and the Lochgilphead map will help to point you in the right direction.

 

Ardrishaig

Check with the Tourist Information Centre in Lochgilphead for up-to-date information on available accommodation.  Alternatively take a look at the Visit Scotland website and find something suitable in advance.
